Eligibility Conditions:
1. The candidate should be a citizen of India and must be a local to the Hyderabad City Police Unit Area.
2. Age:
- Must have completed 18 years of age as on date of notification.
- Those who are above 50 years of age as on date of notification are not eligible.
3. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
- For the post Cat-A, candidate must have passed SSC or any other equivalent examination as approved by the Board of Secondary Education of Govt. A.P.
- For the post Cat-B, candidate must have passed 7th or equivalent examination as on the date of notification.
- The candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed on will also be considered.
4. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
- Skilled and technical persons will be recruited as Home Guards under Cat-B.
- Should possess the valid LMV license issued by the Govt. of A.P. for Drivers.
- Should possess the valid ITI certificate in concerned specialization issued by the Govt. of A.P.
5. PHYSICAL STANDARDS
Height: Cat-A (Men): Candidate should have 165 cms. Height.
In case of STs, the height should be 160 cms.
Cat – B (Men): Candidates should have 160 cms height. Male candidates can be apply for Cat-A or Cat-B or for both.
Cat – A (Women): Candidates should have 150 cms height. In case of STs, the height should be 145 cms.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply in the Application Form and Hall Ticket (in duplicate) prescribed by the ADGP Home Guards, A.P., Hyd, which can be download from the websites www.appolice.gov.in and www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in available in the recruitment folder. They are requested to go through the notification published by News Papers. Candidates should note that the application forms are not issued from any police office.
Last Date for Submission of Applications: Eligible candidates should submit duly filled-in application forms and relevant columns of Hall Tickets along with the copies of the necessary certificates on any working day between 29.04.2013 to 15.05.2013 (excluding public holidays)

A question is given followed by data in the form of two statements labelled as i and

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR ICET-2013
a)The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status
requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of
Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms. No. 25, dated: 19.03.2004 &
G.O. Ms. No.108, dated 30.07.2005; and G.O. Ms. No.66, dated 15.07.2011 of Higher Education
Department and its amendments).
b)The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities
concerned.
c)The candidates seeking admission-
i)For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three
years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the
qualifying examination.
ii)For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three
years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the
qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
d)The qualifying degree obtained by Distance Mode programme should have recognition by joint
committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
e)The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to
appear for
ICET-2013.
f)Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
g)Qualifying marks in ICET-2013 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST
candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into
MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i)Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii)Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-
time\evening\distance mode).
iii)Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
For Engineers (Men and Women). Candidates studying in the Final Year of Engineering Degree and who are qualified graduates of the Degree Course in Engineering will be eligible to apply.
The qualified graduates of the Degree Course must possess Engineering Degree at the time of joining training.
The candidates studying in the final year of Degree Course, if not already in possession of the Degree Certificate should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA.
Such candidates will be inducted for training at OTA on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.
Important Note :- Candidates must note that the minimum educational qualification for induction into SSC(Tech)-41course and SSCW (Tech)- 12 course is BE/B.Tech degree in the engineering stream notified in Para (1)(a) above.
Therefore, to become eligible for induction into SSC(Tech)-41Men course and SSCW (Tech)- 12 Women course, candidates studying in final year of engineering must complete all the formlities including viva voce etc for award of qualifying BE/B.Tech degree before commencement of course, failing which their candidature is liable to be cancelled.
